I was amazed beyond belief when I typed ’Jean le Flambeur’ in Google and the results didn’t feature ANY fan-art. So it’s my task to fix it, then?! It’s really baffling, because the Quantum Thief trilogy is such a visual universe and I couldn’t believe no-one had taken up to draw about it before. Or maybe scifi readers just aren’t eager fan-artists, who knows.

So here we have Jean the quantum thief with some of his sidekicks. The cursing butterfly is Mieli’s ship Perhonen and the puss-in-boots is Carabas, some sort of security system in Jean’s own ship Leblanc. Someone once said the Quantum thief series was like reading a dream so I guess this sort of literal visualizations of stuff are quite okay.
