/ A spring / It’s an old sacred well. Shouldn’t we– / Probably yes, but I don’t have anything to offer. I’ll just sing something. /
/ But what? What would be a good song– / What songs even are there?! Something, anything, now! /
/ The Mandalorian theme / This is the way. /

I didn’t actually sing Mandalorian theme, but I think it would have been fun and it’s generally in line with this blog anyway. Conversation about tree’s curse actually happenend and I was surprised, because I’d never thought the trees might be malevolent. I’ve always seen them as gentle and patient. But I guess they would have every right not to like people.

Worship of sacred trees and springs is a Finnish traditon dating before christianity. Today, the tradition has mostly disappeared, but there are lots of known places of old worship and offering in the region where I live (it’s crazy). I like to give a nod to the old earth gods when there’s a chance. It doesn’t hurt, right? Could be fun, even. The tree’s curse hasn’t hit me yet…
